Pagosa Information
Pagosa Springs is 7 miles west of Deerbrook and has lots of little shops and restaurants. The Springs is a place to soak, with 23 hot soaking pools fed by hot mineral water. The Healing Waters is also a nice place to soak with a 25 meter hot springs pool, outdoor hot-tub, sauna,and indoor hot springs. After a big day on the mountain, a massage and soak feel great! Nearby summer activities include hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, the 27 hole Pagosa Springs Championship Golf Course,fishing, horseback riding and ancient Indian ruins all overlooking the spectacular 13,500 ft. Continental Divide that runs through the edge of town. Nearby winter activities, in addition to skiing and snowboarding include snowmobiling, cross country skiing, sledding, ice skating and horse drawn sleigh rides.
